Greedy Giveaway - Win Tickets to The Big Quiz at Le Cafe Anglais (London Restaurant Festival Event)

It's going to be a big 2 weeks of eating - I've been doing preparatory sit ups all morning. From 4th - 18th October 2010, The London Restaurant Festival hits town, supported by American Express.

Hundreds of restaurants are taking part. Look out for some of the fantastic "festival menus" on offer by many of London's best. For instance, two which have caught my eye are the festival menus at Launceston Place (3 courses for £20) and Gauthier Soho (4 courses, £25, something truffley included). There's also festival events aplenty, such as Gourmet Odyssey walking tours and tours aboard a Routemaster bus, the Masterchef Pop Up at Meza, and The Big Debate over "Is French Food A Spent Force?" (with Rosie Boycott, Janet Street-Porter, Jonathan Meades and AA Gill).

To celebrate the Festival, American Express has given Greedy Diva one pair of tickets to give away for The Big Quiz, hosted by chef Rowley Leigh of Le Cafe Anglais.

The event will take place at Le Cafe Anglais on Monday 11th October and includes not only the chance to exercise some intellectual muscle during the food quiz, but also to give your stomach a work out with a meal from Le Cafe Anglais' festival menu - which includes Rowley Leigh's favourite roast chicken. Tickets normally cost £50 each, but a pair shall come FREE to one of my lucky readers.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment to this post with the answer to the following question:  In which city is The London Restaurant Festival being held?

If you don't have a blog, please leave your email address with your comment or by separate email to me (greedy.diva@yahoo.com). A winner will be chosen randomly by 5pm UK time on Tuesday 5 October and announced on this blog on Wednesday 6 October 2010.

To find out more about the event and the festival, go to www.londonrestaurantfestival.com.

Here's what the sponsors have to say. Terms and conditions are also below:

  15. London.

Would be amazing to attend, this would be my last meal in London as a single lady, leaving the country the next morning to get married (not that this little story makes any difference to the completely impartial selection process, I'm sure).

Also, really adore food and geekily love quizzes.
