Taste is such a subjective thing, so even if a restaurant gets service 100% right (this is less subjective), you can never guarantee that everyone will love the food. £180 a head too - SCARY!!! Agree lunch is often a good way to dip your toe in to gauge whether you're tempted to take the full plunge! In Gordon's case it was and I'm sorry to say that Helene didn't have the same OMG this is amazing feeling!
